Official Fees are reduced (on or after April 1, 2016)

On or after April 1, 2016, the Official Fees for filing a Japanese patent application and for a JP national phase entry from PCT application are reduced from 15,000 yen to 14,000 yen.
The Official fee for a Foreign-language application is also reduced from 24,000 yen to 22,000 yen.

Changes are also be made to other fees including patent registration fees and annuities, trademark registration and renewal fees.
